Paddy Power App Review: Features, Offer and How to Download

Paddy Power has been around since 1988, when three Dublin bookmakers merged their shops, and it is now part of the same group as Betfair. It is known for cheeky marketing, but what matters is the app. It is one of the most popular in the UK, with more App Store ratings than any other app we review. Here is how it stacks up in 2026.

Pros and cons

What I like

  • Very easy to use, even for beginners
  • Bet Builder across one match or several
  • Partial cash out with a simple slider
  • Low £5 qualifying bet on the welcome offer

What could be better

  • No auto cash out
  • Cash out not available on Power Prices or #WhatOddsPaddy bets
  • Racing streams need a bet first

Using the app

Paddy Power’s app is bright, simple and quick. Football is front and centre, and every match has a Bet Builder tab. Multi Match Bet Builder lets you combine picks from different games into one bet, which is handy on a busy Saturday.

Cash out sits on your open bets. Drag the slider to take part of the cash out and leave the rest running, or take it all. It isn’t offered on every market, including some handicaps and enhanced Power Prices. Free bets can only be cashed out once the value is higher than the free bet.

Live streaming

You can stream a wide range of sport with a funded account. For horse racing you’ll need to place a bet on the race first.

Deposits and withdrawals

  • Deposit: Pay by Bank, debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller. Paysafecard is deposit-only, so you withdraw by bank transfer.
  • Withdraw: Pay by Bank is usually immediate. Instant card withdrawals take 1–4 hours, otherwise 2–5 working days. E-wallets take up to 24 hours.
  • Credit cards can’t be used for gambling in the UK.

My verdict

Paddy Power is the app I would point a beginner to first. It is simple, quick and excellent for football bet builders, and the welcome offer only needs a £5 bet. If you want better prices on racing, pair it with the Betfair Exchange.
