Betfair App Review: Features, Offer and How to Download
Betfair is one of the biggest names in UK betting, and it is really two products in one: a normal sportsbook, and the Betfair Exchange where you bet against other punters. I have used both for years. Here is how the sportsbook app shapes up in 2026, plus where the Exchange app fits in.

Using the app
The home screen puts the popular football matches and today’s racing up front, with in-play events a swipe away. Bet slips are quick: I can get a bet on in a few taps. Bet Builder sits on each football match, so you can combine result, goalscorer, cards and corners in one bet.
Cash out appears on your open bets. You can take the full amount or use partial cash out to bank some and leave the rest running. Cash out isn’t offered on every market, for example some handicaps and long-term bets. On free bets it only appears once the value is higher than the free bet.
Live streaming
Betfair streams a wide range of sport. You can usually watch if you have bet on the event, even with a zero balance. UK and Irish racing needs a £1 stake on the race, while some international racing and greyhounds need a funded account.

Deposits and withdrawals
- Deposit: debit card, Instant Bank Transfer, Apple Pay, PayPal and other e-wallets. Paysafecard is no longer accepted (since 29 June 2026).
- Withdraw: instant bank transfer is usually immediate. Instant card withdrawals take 1–4 hours on eligible Visa and Mastercard debit cards, otherwise 2–5 working days.
- Credit cards can’t be used for gambling in the UK.

My verdict
Betfair’s sportsbook app is quick, reliable and strong on bet builders and accas, and the welcome offer suits people who like multiples. The real bonus is having the Exchange alongside it, which often has better prices on racing and big football matches. If you only want one app with the most promotions, look at Paddy Power too.
